Providing Personal Needs
As an arm of the Catholic Church, we at Catholic Charities of Jackson, Lenawee and Hillsdale Counties strive to help provide for the physical, emotional, and mental health needs of those we serve. Part of that service includes our commitment to provide personal care items to those in need in our communities.
Available in Jackson County, the Personal Needs & Linen Closet (PN&LC) is located at 407 S. Mechanic Street in Jackson. Personal hygiene items, cleaning products, and linens are available free of charge to those in need. The PN&LC is open on the second and fourth Fridays of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Imagine being a parent and having to choose between dinner for your family or toilet paper because you can’t afford both. PN&LC provides personal and household necessities to those who struggle to afford the basic products that many of us take for granted.
You can become a volunteer, donate goods for distribution, or make a cash donation to support this all-volunteer driven effort. Find a list of suggested items here or call (517) 740-7566 to volunteer.
In Lenawee & Hillsdale counties, your service group or organization can help provide personal care items through our Bags of Hope project. Email us or call to find out how you can help make a difference.

This program emphasizes constructive arguing techniques that allow couples to adjust their communication styles and achieve more positive and intimate communication in a Christian setting.
